Tech Tidbits Daily Podcast for October 20, 2005

Today we are going to look at two new Apple Macintosh solutions worth checking out.

The first is a security tool called Little Snitch by Objective Development that monitors and reports on your Mac OS X network traffic. You can also control what applications or processes can talk on what ports to what servers and with what protocols.

The second item is a must have for anyone who wants audio-in for an Apple iBook G4 -- the USB 2.0-savvy Griffin iMic that also offers audio-out.  It is simple to use (just plug it in) and works great.

Also for more information about the special Halloween podcast from the new group I'm involved in called "FriendsInTech" then check out FriendsInTech.com.  You can also check out Forums.FriendsInTech.com to post questions, feedback, and interact with other FriendsInTech podcasters and listeners.
