Technology Podcast News and Pointers
There is a lot of stuff going on not just on TechNewsRadio.com but also with FriendsInTech.com:
- Kreg Steppe has a new podcast called Valid Syntax
- Chuck Tomasi has been doing a great job with the Gmail Podcast
- And if you are interesting in computer network security, then you need to check out Pauldotcom.com
In addition, the rest of the technology podcast space is very busy. Here is a quick "link fest" summary:
- Podcast Academy 3 in Santa Clara, California will be June 15-16, 2006
- Phil Windley is taking over some key functions from Doug Kaye at IT Conversations
- Podcasting Legal Guide
- Salesforce.com has an AppExchange podcast (registration required)
- MacWorld Podcasts and Inside Mac Games are good for Mac fans [best one is still MacCast, followed by the Typical Mac User Podcast, and then Mac Review Cast]
- IBM's Investor Podcasts
- InfoWorld has a lot of podcasts referenced in their search engine
- Wired has been offering podcasts since Feb06
- MakeZine on "Podcasting"
Lastly there are some actual "new" technologies that are improving the podcast experience (from both listener and production standpoints) they include:
- Pickle Player
- Yahoo! Publisher Network
- Podcaster 1.1.3 (Macintosh)
- Podcast Monkey 1.0 (Macintosh)
- FeedForAll 2.0b2 (Macintosh)
- Wink [via SearchWinSystems]
